Music Is My Escape

Finally the school year is over! I can't express how thankful I am for God's amazing blessings! He has shown me so much mercy and has carried me through this incredibly challenging year. I have learned so much from it, however, and I am thankful for that.

Now that I have more time on my hands, I can finally do what I love: music. I have been playing piano for more than 8 years now. I also love to sing. So, after I discovered SoundCloud, I decided to start recording some of the pieces I had been working on. Here is the link to the account. Since school just finished, there are only two tracks at the moment, but there are plenty more to come throughout the summer! Enjoy!

This Is Me

Well, here I am, Thursday night, writing my first blog post. It's a strange feeling to be doing what I have dreamed of for years: writing and publishing my writing, even though it is just a blog. Still, it is a start. My ultimate purpose in writing is to glorify God in all that I do; to Him be all the glory. I am also hoping for this to provide a chance for me to reflect on different circumstances and happenings in my life and to explore my thoughts. I hope that it will also be a way of catching up with what I have been up to (for those who don't see me often), and for those who don't know me to get to know me better by reading this. Of course, I don't want to put any pressure on anyone to read my posts. 

Posting will officially start later; this is just an introduction and a summary of what I plan to write on. Some topics will make people smile, some will be serious and thoughtful, others will be sorrowful (I will try not to post much of that), but there will be many varieties.
